RAVE — short for Rent & Vroom Elite — was founded in 2013 by two Naples natives who were tired of choosing between clunky beach-town rentals and bikes that felt like an afterthought. We wanted something else: a fleet maintained like it mattered, delivered on guest time, with the kind of quiet service you don’t have to think about.
That idea hasn’t changed. Every bike in our fleet is inspected between rentals, every delivery is timed to the minute, and every ride comes standard with the gear you’d otherwise have to ask for — a lock, a helmet, a bag, a mirror. We built a company around the assumption that a rental should feel like it belongs to you for the day.
Today RAVE serves guests, residents, and businesses across Naples and Bonita Springs — from a single sunset ride to standing fleets for hotels and property groups. The bikes have gotten better. The standard hasn’t moved.
How we got here
A short history.
2014
Six bikes, one storefront
RAVE opens two blocks from Naples Pier with a fleet of six cruisers and a single delivery bike — literally, one of the rentals doubled as the delivery vehicle.
2016
First electric models
We retire the last of the pedal-only fleet in favor of pedal-assist e-bikes, cutting the average guest’s effective riding radius from 3 miles to over 20.
2019
Bonita Springs location opens
Demand from guests riding the Bonita Beach corridor leads to a second location and a dedicated delivery route along Bonita Beach Road.
2021
Guided tours launch
What started as informal rides for repeat guests becomes a formal program — Sunset Rides, Food Tours, and Mangrove Explorer routes, all led by locals.
2026
The fleet you see today
Nine models, from the Coastal Cruiser to the Cargo Hauler, each maintained on a fixed inspection schedule and delivered free on orders over $300.
